Initial Setup
is a self-hosted web application that automatically gives your shared Plex or Emby users the ability to request content by themselves! Ombi can be linked to multiple TV Show and Movie DVR tools to create a seamless end-to-end experience for your users. Some of the features in this app are:
- Customisable content requesting system
- Allows your users to recieve custom notifications
- Real-time updating. Will show if the request is already on Plex or even if it's already monitored.
- Slick, responsive and mobile-friendly UI

In this guide,setup, we'll be setting up Ombi for the first time. This assumes the following:
- You've
setupset up adownloadcontentclientmanager. Ombi supports Sonarr, Radarr, CouchPotato anda media library managerSickChill. - You have a media server
installedinstalled. Ombi supports Plex, Emby and Jellyfin. YouYourareusernamerunningforVersionOmbi3willofbeOmbi,yourVersionservice4usernamecomesandpre-configuredthe password you set during the install procedure.

Upon
installation, once you clicked Connect you'll be greeted by Ombi's Setup Wizard. This will guide you through setting up Ombi. Click Nextthe connect
button to continue

The next page asks for either the media center of your choice or to skip this step. We recommend skipping this so press Skip
Next page will be creating an Admin account. Enter your preferred credentials here.
Once that's done, enter your set credentials to login.
Setting Ombi V3
To enter setup, go to Settings
Then, here you can add your app details here. Please refer to the following guide for connecting appsconnect to your Ombiinstance.WebUI. Type your username and the password you created upon installation.-
It will be good practice here to set your
User Management
defaults. You can do this by going toSettings
->Configuration
->User Management
and select your default roles. -
Select User Managment from the main pane on the left side to add users. These users will be able to access your Ombi url at https://{user].{server}.usbx.me/ombi to request content.

Ombi's only other setup really just consists of connecting all of your applications that you have already set up before-hand. You will need only the API keys for your indexers on hand. Please see the tables below for the various application examples.

Troubleshooting Information
Why are Ombi’s movie & TV Shows search function not working?
Settingversions upof SSLOmbi, when upgraded, had some issues with their database. To fix this, run the following command on your Ombislot’s V3shell.
