SABnzbd
SABnzbd is an Open Source Binary Newsreader written in Python. SABnzbd makes Usenet as simple and streamlined as possible by automating everything we can. All you have to do is add an .nzb
. SABnzbd takes over from there, where it will be automatically downloaded, verified, repaired, extracted and filed away with zero human interaction. More information can be found here.

Initial Setup
- Navigate to the 1 Installers tab from within your User Control Panel.
- Search for 1 SABnzbd, and click 2 Install next to SABnzbd from the list below
- Enter in a 1 Secure Password and click 2 Install at the bottom right of the new popup window.
- Once the installer completes, navigate to the 1 Apps section from the navigation bar. Followed by clicking 2 Show Info to reveal your login details.
- You will need to open the 1 URL to access SABnzbd WebUI and use the Username and 2 Password to login to SABnzbd.
Configuration
- Once you have accessed the SABnzbd WebUI, head over to the 1 config at the top right. This is the button represented by a cog in the top-right corner.
- Go to 1 Servers on the top navigation bar.
- Click 1 Add Server from the sub-navigation bar.
- 1 Fill in the Host provided by your News Provider
- 2 Fill in the Username provided by your News Provider
- 3 Fill in the Password provided by your News Provider
- 4 Unless otherwise provided, keep Connections at
100
- 5 Click Test Server, and if it is successful, proceed to step 6.
- 6 Click Add Server to add this News Server to your Servers list.
- If successful, you will see your server added, as shown in the below image.
- Navigate to the starting page by clicking the 1 logo at the top left.
- From here, click the 1 Wrench icon, which will open the below popup. Click the 100 MB test file and if it completes, you are good to go to add
.nzb
files and start using SABnzbd.
